What You Should Know (Honest Take)

• Step-thru frame only — no step-over option. Velotric does not make a Discover 3 with a traditional high-bar frame. The step-thru is excellent for mounting with cargo, commuting in work clothes, and stop-and-go urban riding. But if you specifically want step-over stiffness or aesthetics, the Discover 3 cannot give you that. Period.
• The suspension seatpost raises minimum seat height by ~10 cm (4″). This is the real trade-off for rear comfort. Regular frame: fits 4’11″–5’9″ without the seatpost, but only 5’2″–5’11″ with it. If you are between 4’11″ and 5’2″, you can ride the Regular frame — but you will need to swap to a rigid seatpost, which means losing the rear suspension.
