What We’d Change (Honest Take)

Zeus sells this trike because we believe in it. We also believe in telling you exactly where it trades off — and where the spec sheet has gaps:

• Meet One doesn’t publish the motor wattage or the sensor type. The manufacturer lists 80 Nm of torque but not a nominal wattage, and it doesn’t state whether the pedal assist is torque- or cadence-based. Some third-party retailer listings describe the motor around 750 W nominal / 1,000 W peak, but Meet One doesn’t confirm that, so we won’t print it as fact. If those numbers matter for your local rules or your riding feel, call us and we’ll confirm what the manufacturer states before you order.
• Mechanical disc brakes, not hydraulic. Mechanical discs are reliable and easy to service at home, but they need occasional cable adjustment and don’t self-adjust the way hydraulics do. If you ride long descents often or want the lowest-maintenance braking, the Breeze Pro 2.0 upgrades to 180 mm hydraulics.
• It’s heavy — folding helps storage, not lifting. At about 57 kg (125 lbs) net, the Breeze 2.0 folds to shrink its footprint for garage or shed storage, and reverse mode helps you manoeuvre it in tight spaces — but you are not carrying a folded trike up stairs or lifting it into a truck bed. Plan for ground-level storage before you buy.
• Carbon steel frame, not aluminium. Carbon steel is strong and affordable, but it’s heavier than aluminium and can rust if the paint chips and isn’t touched up. Through a salted Canadian winter, inspect the frame seasonally and touch up chips promptly. That’s standard care for a steel frame.
• 18″ wheels are smaller than standard. The 18″ diameter keeps the seat low and easy to mount — the right call for the target rider — but smaller wheels roll over big bumps a little less smoothly and cover less ground per rotation than 20″ or 24″ wheels. The full suspension closes much of that gap.

Everything else — the full suspension, speed differential, dual-battery architecture, fat tires, reverse/cruise/parking, and 450 lb payload on a folding frame — is a lot of trike for an entry model. The trade-offs above are exactly how it lands below the Pro.

A Note on Canadian E-Bike Law

Meet One does not publish a nominal motor wattage for the Breeze 2.0, so we can’t confirm from the specs whether it falls inside or outside Canada’s federal Power-Assisted Bicycle (PAB) definition, which caps motors at 500 W. The trike is speed-limited to 32 km/h and has working pedals, which is part of the PAB test — but wattage is the part we can’t verify here, and we won’t guess.
